Wow Express - Chief Technology Officer - Startup - IIT/NIT

Summary :

- Responsible for developing, enhancing, and deploying the company's technology presence.

- Ensures execution of company's IT goals and strategies. Helps place the company in a leadership position by implementing cutting edge technology solutions within the organization.

Required Qualification,Qualities And Experience :

- Preferably an IT / Comp. Science Engineer from IIT or NIT with a minimum of 7-8 years of experience in a managerial / Sr. managerial role of the IT dept of a logistics/ Delivery / services company .

- An out of the box thinker who can not only dream about the IT vision of the organization but also be able to implement the vision .

Responsibility :

- Establish governance processes of direction and control to ensure that IT objectives are achieved.

- Be the custodian and protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's data and servers.

- Identify and implement technology trends and platforms.

- Communicate the company's technology strategy to investors, management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders.

- Present the IT Vision and differentiators to investors.

- Direct and develop an IT security plan.

- Evaluate and recommend technologies, service providers and technology partners.

- Select and register and manage company's domain names.

- Establish and manage email service.

- Implement web-based internal communications system.

- Oversee the design agency's efforts to manage the company corporate identity and website.

- Manage all IT vendor relationships.

- Conduct code reviews and specification conformance testing.

- Establish quality assurance process.

- Establish an application deployment process.

- Monitor web analytic's regime to ascertain site traffic.

- Implement technical requirements for Internet marketing and search engine optimization.

- Integrate customer service and support with the software engineering process to support resolution of customer issues and improve application usability.

- Provide leadership to the IT team and lead them to achieve the company's objective of being the world's leading technology enabled logistics company.
