Sales Head - Freight Forwarding Industry - UK - London

Duties and responsibility :

- Deliver agreed revenue and share objectives on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis; achieve monthly KPI's

- Drive new business growth across all facets of the business in line with the sales targets/budgets set by the Management

- Continuously promote sales activities personally, by developing and concentrating on new key accounts and developing business

- Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory according to an agreed market development strategy along with pipeline reports

- Manage pricing and margins according to agreed business outcomes

- Ensure all customer visits, opportunities and any other customer information are updated with the requirements and expectations

- KPI & targets to be defined as per business plan

- Maintain and develop good relationship with customer through personal contact or meetings or via Telephone

- Will act as a bridge b/w the company and its' current & future market For all clients

- Will get information of market customers to enable negations regarding pries, deliverance and customer satisfaction

- Will help management in forthcoming products and discuss and special promotions

- Will record sales and order information and report the same to sales department

- Will provide accurate feedback on future buying trends to their respective employers

- To make new clients and to work on new geographical

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree

Education : MBA (Preferred)

Position Requirements :

- Required 3 - 4 years of Outside Sales experience

- 3 - 4 years of experience in freight forwarding and NVOCC's is required

- Prior success with customer and/or carrier growth

- Strong sales and relationship building skills

- Good knowledge of the local market and have a portfolio of existing accounts

- Ability to effectively influence others

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Team player (demonstrated coordination with Operations, Logistics Engineering, IT, Finance)

- Strategic and creative thinking skills

- Computer literate in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Freight Forwarding system

- Valid work permit

- UK Driving License

- Travel with specified region will be required.
