Job scope:
- We are looking for a Workday product specialist who is skilled and experienced in owing the product and managing all related maintenance, developments and enhancements. Additionally, would be skilled to support different projects involving data interface to and from Workday to other platforms, implement additional workday & ensure continuous improvements of processes in Workday.
- Your tasks will primarily be centered around reviewing the current functionality and utilization of Workday as a HRIS platform and bring in enhancements and improvements.,
- Understanding of HRIS concepts, how HRIS platform impact the entire application landscape of the organization, dependencies on HRIS for financial and other applications etc. are key to be successful in this role. We have a lot of exciting projects in this space, which means you will have a lot of opportunities to learn and grow in a collaborative work environment with multiple stakeholders and sometimes a tight deadline.
- You will be a part of the HR Shared Service team and placed in Chennai but your colleagues will be from all over the world.
Your tasks and responsibilities :
- Review current workday usage in the organization and improve utilization.
- Simplify, Standardize and automate workday processes.
- Improve people experience on using the HRIS platform.
- Work with functional leads to develop and deliver workday roadmaps.
- Manage the change requests related to Workday and deliver closure of them on-time.
- Engage with the HR team members to understand the concerns faced related to workday processes.
- Run Working groups to implement process changes and simplifications.
- Manage the bi-annual workday release end to end by planning for the regression tests, Reviewing the mandatory and optional features and support signoff.
- Meet with stakeholders within and outside HR teams, support in delivering integrations or interfaces.
- Research and network with peer companies to understand the level of Workday usage and enhance our ROI.
- Partner with Workday customer success manager to identify and improve workday capabilities.
- Manage the AMS provider and ensure we get right support at the right level on time.
We expect you have :
- A relevant education & Background in working on global Human Resource Information Systems
- Close to 15 years of experience in a global organization with minimum 7 years in managing HRIS platforms.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Workday techno Functional consultant on different functional areas.
- Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to give presentations when needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including a commitment to customer service and HR support.
- Ability to effectively prioritize duties and efficiently complete responsibilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, exhibiting a high level of integrity.
- Exposure in workday implementation, deployment of new modules and integrations would be an added advantage.
