Position Summary:
- Business Development - Tours & Travels is responsible for supporting the Sales Manager in achieving sales targets, developing sales strategies, and managing client relationships.
- This role requires a proactive approach to drive sales, optimize revenue, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction in the tours and travels sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Assist in developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve business goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and target potential clients. Support in planning and executing sales campaigns, promotions, and special offers.
Client Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Team Collaboration and Supervision:
- Support and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Assist in training and developing sales team members.
- Monitor and report on team performance and provide feedback for improvement.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Analyze sales data to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjust as necessary.
- Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
Sales Operations:
- Oversee the day- to- day sales operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and marketing efforts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Product Knowledge and Development:
- Maintain in- depth knowledge of travel products, services, and industry trends.- Contribute to the development of new travel packages and services based on market demand.
- Provide training to the sales team on new products and services.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Travel and Tourism, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in sales within the travel industry
Additional Requirements:
- Availability to travel as required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Fluency in Native location language is a plus.
