Purpose and Key Responsibilities:
- A single point of accountability and responsibility for running the Central Govt vertical for Wipro in India. End to end responsibility of growth in sales, manage delivery and pre - sales of the entire patch for Central Govt. The person will report to the BU head and will be measured on Revenue Growth, Order Booking, Large Deals, CSAT and Delivery.
- Work with alliances and industry experts and leaders in the Government patch. Create and enhance our domain play to sharpen and enhance our propositions.
- Directly own the Top line and bottomline of the vertical. Be responsible for exceeding target growth in Revenues and margins.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with senior Govt clients and stakeholders.
- Support the sales and pre-sales teams in proposals and presentations during the selling process
- Support the delivery teams in execution of projects where need be and resolving gaps that may arise due to domain understanding
- Directly own and be the custodian of relationships with all key stakeholders in governments in India.
- Drive the building and enhancements of our existing domain solutions by working with our existing customers.
- Work with an enhance the domain team under him to provide them directions
Education & Qualifications:
BE + MBA (preferable) from a reputed institute
Experience:
- 18+ years of sales experience with atleast 10 years of experience in the Govt sector in central govt - Essential
- Sound understanding and past experience of managing profit and loss.
- Strong understanding and demonstrable experience of delivery and managing customer satisfaction
- Experience of working with and supporting multiple teams in creating solutions and propositions that can be sold - Essential
- Well versed with various IT and commercial models, product stacks, application and infrastructure options of various airports configurations
- Client relationship at senior and middle management.
- Experience in facilitating and participating in account development plans.

Knowledge & Skills
- Indepth understanding of all aspects of government functioning especially Indian Govt. Trends like understanding of eGovernance, Tax reforms and other trends in the various initiatives of the GOI.
- Ability to proactively solicit advice and expert opinion from other industry experts regarding business issues and challenges in the space
- Ability to end to end drive Large Deals working with the entire internal and external stakeholders involved in these deals.
- Familiar with the differences in business models of client's competitors
- Knowledgeable of emerging business trends in the sector
- Good understanding of Client's business and how offerings complement each other to create a winning value proposition to address client needs
- Strong knowledge and experience with most of the products/services offerings.
- Working with people and managing sales teams
- Sound understanding of financial and legal matters especially ones that play a significant role in Government bids.
- Managing large deals from start till contract closure
- Understanding of contractual clauses
