Role :
- Presales Solutions architect will be responsible to create solution responses against RFx and Proactive opportunities from field.
- He/She will be constantly engaged in opportunity pursuit activities such as due diligence, workshops and customer presentations.
- He/She will also be engaged in backend coordination with Delivery assurance team and vendor team for optimum bill of material / quantity and price.
Responsibilities -
- Manage multiple active opportunities at a time
- Have understanding of Automation tools stack from multiple vendors - BMC, HP, CA, MS, IBM, ServiceNow and Open tools stack
- Be engaged in evaluation of new tools
- Contribute to practice growth by creating White Papers on tools comparison and Wipro views; Best Practices; Frameworks
- Represent Wipro in vendor and Wipro lead marketing initiatives
- Responsible for the quality of Solution document, Efforts and Customer Presentations
- Resolve technical & design conflicts and issues
- Work in alignment from bid Solutions Architect the solution requirements and needs of the customer's business units and business processes
- Have adaptability to change solution with dynamics of deal progress, it includes - changing solution composition, phases and other aspects to ensure a homogenous solution for the opportunity
- Review and understand scope for practice for opportunities varying from proactive & non-rfp based to consultant lead opportunities
- Maintain and update presales tracker with details including - funnel, resource requirements, ACV, TCV, etc.
- Provide technical leadership to the implementation team
- Ensure that project teams remain on course with respect to technical direction
- Interact with Sales to extend the customer opportunities in accordance with their long-term vision and direction
- Maintain knowledge of the defined solutions and standards proposed for changes/improvements.
- Define insightful and credible technology solutions that balance the functionality, costs and risks of the suggested technologies
- Serve as advisor and mentor to other team members regarding IT skills, principles, policies and processes
- Keep current with industry trends about emerging technologies, best practices, etc.
- The applicant must have at least 2 years of directly related, demonstrable experience in architecting comprehensive IT automation solutions, managing the development and deployment of these solutions, and managing the customer relationship throughout the lifecycle of the engagement.
- Good communication skills. Teamwork is essential component of making this role a success.
- Designing and architecting experience in minimum one of following end-2-end tools stack from BMC, HP, CA, IBM, ServiceNow:
- Automation tools - run book automation, server, network, DB, middleware automation etc
- Enterprise Monitoring platforms
- Application Monitoring tools
- Service Management Platform
- Knowledge on ITSM Processes for Infrastructure Management
- Broad understanding of overall IT Infrastructure (OS (Unix and Windows), Database, Networking, Storage)
- Thorough understanding of integration techniques including web services, API, Database, etc
- Delivery of business architecture solutions using formal development methodologies/processes
- Strong leadership and negotiations skills
- Good communication skills written and verbal
- Ability to work in geographically disperse customer and project teams
- Applicant with Strong ITIL / ITSM background & Operations knowledge will be given preference
