Wipro Technologies - Insurance Product Architect

Role description: Responsible for reference architecture of P&C and providing end to end solution architecture leveraging the leading COTS products encompassing the digital enablement

Responsibilities-

- Understand the Insurance business problem and provide technology leadership to build the entire enterprise stack - from front to back - as well as the underlying COTS product and infrastructure

- Define EA strategy and transformation

- Define future-state-architecture and transitional-architecture

- Validate Infrastructure Architecture

- Lead architecture engagements and major transformation execution through execution phases and where applicable drive internal, client and third party vendor mixed teams

- Own complex digital transformational exercises from an architecture standpoint

- Understand, define and capture the architecture of clients and identify opportunities for transformation

- Understand how to standardize an agile and DevOps based way of working - including defining the tool chains needed to enable this

Skills - Must have

- Strong Digital & Enterprise Architecture skills, including technical and business architecture

- Experience in one of the leading P&C platforms like Guidewire, DuckCreek and should have solutioned and implemented at least 2 large transformations with COTs products of Insurance

- Significant experience in Digital Channels, eco-systems and integrated back end systems - with deep understanding of / experience of having mentored Insurance teams on

- Front end framework - responsive / hybrid / native - multi-channel implementations

- Analytics / Big data stack / cloud analytics

- Channel architecture and back end core architectures

- Open source and vendor stacks/solutions

- Software architectures; Eco-system and support architectures

- Integration architectures (including 3rd party / start-up projects)

- Infrastructure architecture

- Security architecture / including building for cyber security

- Process automation / digitization / workflow implementation

- API-fication of core systems / legacy platforms

- Building scalable / high TPS consumer facing systems

- Moving applications to cloud / architecting cloud based solutions from grounds up

- Refactoring legacy systems via micro-services

- Be able to review estimates - and ensure that they are competitive; and achievable

- Define tools / frameworks to enable a repeatable approach of digital delivery

- Assess proposed architectural approaches / risks and define alternative propositions

- Should have interacted at the CxO level or at the "Head of" function level. Has demonstrated the ability to influence client-team enterprise architect teams.

Preferred:

- Certification in either TOGAF or Zachman

- Should enhance Wipro's brand as a - thought leader- by representing Wipro as a speaker at major conferences, participating in reputed industry blogs and contributing articles to leading publications

- Have created IP / patents
