We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead the Strategy function for the Technology BU. The Technology BU addresses clients in Semiconductor, Storage, Network, Software and Peripheral sectors.
The Strategy function covers:
- Lead, Support and Track BU strategic markers
- Coordinate with Strategy office to further BU ambitions in alignment with the corporate
- Lead, Support and Track identified H2/H3 initiatives and funding
- Identify M&A targets and work with verticals & corporate on pursuits
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of business and technology drivers, understanding of the global market with a foundation in finance. Understanding of the High-Technology or Software market space will be required for effective functioning. Previous experience in Strategy or marketing would be of value.
Job Responsibilities:-
Pipeline & Funnel Analysis - Track the BU pipeline, work with sales leaders towards building effective pipelines
Business Analytics - Drive Unit and Account business analytics across all parameters
- Sales Process Adoption and Compliance - Drive sales process adoption in the unit, drive usage of tools, templates, methodologies, track progress in key deals, and track assurance of account plans in key identified accounts, release regular dashboards. Ensure usage of IVPs, Win strategy and Win-Loss analysis
Sales Competencies - Identify areas of improvement in Sales competencies and plan/organize custom training programs to enhance skill sets
Competition Analysis - Study the market situation, work with sales leaders and create insights into competitor capabilities and strategy.
- Forecast Wipro growth viz a viz competition. Define strategies for improved positioning of Wipros Telecom services
Market Analysis - Research technology and business trends across markets and define strategies for penetrating identified accounts and markets.
- Produce industry leading business research, position papers and white papers
Strategic Programs - Track execution of strategic programs and follow through on strategy and actions
Unit PMO - Be part of the Unit PMO and drive activities & actions at defined cadence
Unit Reporting and Presentations - Create the weekly, monthly, quarterly reports and management presentations
