POSITION PURPOSE
The Strategic Deal Executive will be a key player in achieving the growth strategy of Manufacturing and Hi-tech SBU of Wipro Technologies. The role is responsible to lead and close new log strategic outsourcing deals (contract value of USD 50 million and above). The candidate must have demonstrated experience in leading and closing large outsourcing deals for Tier-1 organizations like HCL, Infosys, Congnizant, TCS, Capgemini, IBM, Accenture.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage large outsourcing deals throughout the bid process - from initial opportunity assessment to contract negotiations and hand off to transition team
- Build the pursuit team and manage all key stakeholders - senior management, solution architects, service lines, sales team, finance and legal
- Work with the sales organization in defining the sales strategy, value propositions and price to win for complex engagements
- Direct the development of the proposal and actively participate and lead all customer workshops and presentations
- Understand Wipro's service offerings and effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients
- Maintain sales pipeline and forecast reporting.
SKILLS
- Demonstrated experience in leading and closing large outsourcing deals for Tier-1 organizations
- Between 10 -18 yrs of experience which could be a mix of presales, outsourcing solutions, delivery or consulting in managed services outsourcing environments.
LOCATION
- Based in Bangalore, Delhi or Hyderabad for the first 12-18 months. Option to move to key locations in US and Europe after that to play a Practice Manager role for driving Wipro's Outsourcing business.
