Function Overview:

The Thought Leadership (TL) function of Wipro’s Strategic Marketing team strives to strengthen Wipro’s position in the market as a go-to expert for our clients. We work to create technology and business insights that are relevant to our customers’ business. These insights are based on various primary and secondary research studies we undertake to understand market trends that are shaping up across industries. For this purpose we work with subject experts within Wipro, leading academic institutions, and global publications.

This role provides a good exposure to the various business functions in Wipro.

Preferred Experience:

Educational Qualification: MBA

Years of Experience: 2-5 years in the IT Industry preferably post MBA

Preferred Experience Backgrounds: Pre-sales/ Business Analysis / Marketing / Market and Competitive Intelligence related functions / IT Services Consulting

Role and Responsibilities:

- Position: Build Wipro’s positioning in the market as a go-to-expert through regular TL interventions and honors marketing. Help experts at Wipro build a strong thought leadership presence through speaking opportunities and media presence.

- Communicate: Identify areas of interest for the organization and client industry and build insights around them that are then communicated through various channels – sales force, digital and social media, events etc. For this purpose work with various stakeholders across the organization

- Research: Define research requirements for the organization. Create, administer, and analyze research questionnaires and present the findings as reports and webinars.

- Engage: Build a community of internal and external stakeholders that can contribute towards TL initiatives at Wipro

- Ideate: Understand services marketing and suggest new ideas with which TL can help Wipro garner a larger share of mind and recall with our customers

- Streamline: develop standards and processes for new initiatives to streamline them and improve efficiency

Key Skills:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication

- Ability to understand business and technology trends across a range of industries and map them to Wipro’s messaging

- Ability to conduct quantitative & statistical analysis, qualitative analysis, and the effective communication of this analysis

- Knowledge of market research techniques

- Ability to work with virtual teams, strong interpersonal skills enabling connects with people at various levels of seniority

- An eye for detail and the ability to prepare deliverables to high standards of quality

- Ability to prioritize and to be comfortable with ambiguity

- Ability to take a new idea and see it through to execution

- Hands on person that strives to meet deadlines and expectations 100% of the time
