Role Description :
- This career opportunity is with the Market Making function of Consumer Business Unit (CBU). CBU serves customers in the Retail, CPG, Travel, Transportation, Hospitality, New Age, Media & Entertainment, Education and Public Sector Industry verticals & contributes ~16% of Wipro's revenues.
Responsibilities :
- Strategic Influencer Relationships
- Develop strong relationships / partnerships with 3rd party sourcing advisory / Strategy Consulting / Private Equity firms
- Positioning in Advisor Reports & Connects
- Manage Advisor expectations and perception about Wipro being a - Transformation Partner. This would be enabled by providing directions to ensure focused messaging of RFIs, responding to Advisor queries on Wipro, leading visits and conducting briefing sessions for the Advisors.
Communication :
- Ongoing communication with Influencer community.
- Create clear messaging that will enable sharing of latest updates from Wipro targeting Influencers across the globe.
Reporting and Analytics :
- Monitor market developments (potential M&A, divestiture situations, large deals coming up for renewals) from public sources of information and share intelligence & insights with sales teams to enable greater interlock with Influencer community.
- Track and analyze the Influencer pipeline & create management dashboards to report out status and progress internally within Wipro. Use the analysis to drive greater engagement and cadence with sales teams and influencer community
Qualifications :
- MBA from Tier 1/2 B-School
- 10 to 14 years of industry experience with background in pre-sales, marketing, research/consulting organization, messaging/positioning with good understanding of IT Services business.
- Prior relevant experience working with Advisors/Analysts will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to Industry segments within Consumer BU will be a bonus.

Additional details :
While the scope of the role will be global, the position will be based in Bangalore & will report jointly into the Strategy Head-CBU and President & Chief Executive of CBU. The role will require the individual to work seamlessly and collaboratively with sales, domain, solution definition & marketing teams spread across India and the geographies we serve.
