As a client facing Solution Sales leader, this role is responsible for driving technology thought leadership and business growth with customers with the Connected Customer Experience practice with Wipro.

We are looking for people with a proven track record in solution consulting, customer advisory roles, program delivery, sales and pre-sales exposure (Solution Design, Account Planning, proactive pipeline generation, proposal/SOW development and estimations, participating in POC and Pilots, Point of view Presentations, solution walkthrough, closing deals). Ability to build strong customer relationships and collaborate with vast Wipro network is a key for successful candidates.
To ensure regular face to face client interaction Practice Managers are expected to spend significant amount of their time at the client site, which may or may not require travel. We are looking for proactive, self-driven individuals with Business Development DNA for this individual leadership role. Deal sizes vary from $500K to $5M ACV; territory targets $5M - $10M.
To achieve sales targets and maintain the healthy pipeline Practice Manager will work closely and collaborate with:
- Industry Vertical Account Managers as key counterparts in managing the client
- Practice COE as key counterparts in developing and selling solutions
- Practice Delivery teams as key counterparts in ensuring client satisfaction
- Alliance Partners as key counterparts in shaping deals around their technologies
Key Expectations:
- Establish and enhance Wipro's CCX practice presence in the target Australia based accounts
- Achieve revenue and order booking goals for the assigned vertical/accounts
- Build demand for new solution offerings, new service models
- Drive growth in the vertical/accounts for CCX
- Hunt for opportunities in new accounts and mine existing accounts for new opportunities
Desired Skills and Experience
Technology Coverage:
Should have good understanding of Java/J2EE technologies, BPM, Content Management in addition to being a specialist in at least some of the technology areas listed below :
- Business Process Management - Solutions to achieve process efficiencies by leveraging BPM technologies such as Pega, IBM BPM, Appian, Cordys, Oracle BPEL etc.,
- Enterprise Content Management - Paperless Office solutions involving Imaging, Scanning and Enterprise Document Management solutions. technologies covered under this are OpenText, IBM FileNet, Documentum, KoFax, Alfresco, Thunderhead, etc.
- Mobility - Mobile solutions comprising of native & hybrid applications built using Mobile Application Development Platforms like IBM MobileFirst, Kony, Adobe, SAP, etc.
- Legacy Modernization - Solutions to modernize legacy applications such as mainframe based applications or client-server applications. Moving applications to the cloud based stacks would also be covered under modernization
- Collaboration - Solutions to enable Multi-Channel Customer Experience, Rich User Experience, Web 2.0 & Social Computing Applications. Technologies covered under this are - Portal Platforms such as WebSphere Portal, Oracle WebCenter Portal, Liferay, Web Content Management solutions such as Adobe Experience Manager, Acquia, IBM Web Content Management, Oracle WebCenter Sites,
Qualifications and Expectations:
Location and Travel: Sydney/Melbourne(25-50% Travel)
Total Work Experience; Minimum 10 + Years, 5+ years in Sales or Consulting Role preferred
Sales Experience: $5-15M revenue targets preferred, Account Planning, Solution Selling
Industry Focus: Minimum 5+ years in positioning tech. solutions in domain for this role
Technology Experience: Minimum 8+ Yrs, with a specialization in any ONE stream of CCX (BPM, eCommerce, Legacy Modernization, Portals, ECM, Ecomm, Collaboration) & sound understanding of the other streams.
Education: Masters or MBA preferred
Other Skills Required: Excellent communication, Team player, Flexible, Result Oriented
Alignment to Role: Working in a Global Delivery Model. Experience with working with complex or transformation projects preferred. Should have interacted significantly with CxO, CxO - 1 in both business and IT, for Fortune 500 organizations
