The Finance Transformation lead is expected to work as a trusted advisor to client senior management organisation and bring leadership, breadth of expertise, leading edge reimagined Finance Target operating process models enabled by digital technologies and personal credibility. The role is a leadership role within the given engagement as the role is required to collaborate with internal and external partners, parties, business units in the aim of ensuring that the Finance practice components i.e. process, people, systems, technologies - digital are in cohesion with the overall proposed target operating model.
Responsibilities -
- Apply leading finance and accounting practice processes, standards, SOPs and accounting transaction processing analysis in one or more finance areas i.e. Record-to-Report (RiR), Financial Performance Management (FPM), Supply Finance planning and management, Shared Services, with a focus on improved digitized finance processes.
- Lead and work on a collaborative mode with Wipro practice teams, client team, in developing Target State digitized models with reimagined / engineered finance target operating models.
- Guide and provide quality assurance, quality check for team (client or Wipro) through as-is documentation, target operating process models, reorganization role and process design and enabling technologies.
- Design and establish shared services operating models, governance and service management along with service catalog and service level agreements.
- Manage transitions of multiple pre-sales engagements entailing i.e. RFP responses, demonstrations, proposal writing, knowledge transfer, digital design workshop management.
- Identify and develop Finance transformation opportunities from existing clients and put forth the transformation proposal solutions in collaboration with the overall business solution suite.
- Provide solutions to complex business finance and overall relevant problems/challenges where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objective i.e. setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for specified areas.
- Interact with senior management CFO and above and peers at client site including negotiating or influencing on significant matters.
- Has latitude in decision making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
Experience
- Consulting expertise
- Minimum of 16 years industry experience in consulting organization or business, consulting experience preferable at a top tier consulting firm.
- Familiar & well conversant with the local industry workings and culture (Australia)
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Preferred skill Requirements -
- CPA, CFA, CA, MBA, CMA, BSc, or experience as business accountant
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance including IFRS, Basel II, Sarbanes Oxley
- Direct experience in creating business change using SAP or Oracle or Peoplesoft Financials
- SAP S/4HANA Finance Transformation product knowledge with implementation experience over a transformation engagement
