Wipro - Principal Consultant - Enterprise Architect

The Enterprise Architect is expected to work as a trusted advisor to the senior member of the client's organization and to bring leadership, breadth of expertise and personal credibility. The role is a leadership role within the given engagement the role is required to collaborate with internal and external partners, parties, business units in the aim of ensuring that all components i.e. security, infrastructure, networking, application, database is in cohesion with the overall Enterprise Architecture Framework.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and guide the development and integration of business solutions inclusive of Infrastructure, Data Architecture, Application/Solution Architecture, Security Architecture, governance, resilience, DRs, etc. aligned with the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) patterns and design

- Work as a team member within medium and large consulting

- Establish, adopt, communicate and enforce standards and policies for system documentation, best practices and policies that support an optimized SOA environment

- Manage, design and support develop solutions following industry best practices and methodologies from an enterprise architectural perspective

- Research and share new trends and best practices within the industry/domain and identify ways to solve business problems. Train and share knowledge with the team

- Collaborate with a customer at 'c' level stakeholders and sharing thoughts leadership in enterprise architecture by creating and sharing new technology strategies and roadmap

- Lead and deliver small to medium consulting assignments

- Awareness of the wider Wipro eco-system

- Participate and contribute time and high-quality responses on all pursuit to sales activities, i.e. response on RFT, RFP, customer demonstrations etc.

- Support business development through proactive opportunity identification, proposition development, RFP responses.

Experience :

Consulting expertise :

- Minimum of 16 years in the IT industry, and a minimum of 9 years of Enterprise Architecture consulting experience preferably at a top-tier consulting firm.

- Familiar & well conversant with the local industry workings and culture (Australia)

- Excellent presentation and communication skills.

EA skills and expertise :

- Business outcome-centric Enterprise Architecture, EA target operating model definition, start-up/restart an EA team/function, EA Governance definition, IT strategy, Application Portfolio Analysis/Management, EA modeling, Business Architecture, Business Model Analysis, and Business Capability Modeling

- Extensive experience with models, frameworks and techniques such as the Business Model Canvas, REA, Business Capability Models, Business Architects Guild BIZBOK and TOGAF, etc.

- Assess cloud readiness of existing application estate

- Understand dependencies, risks and mitigation planning for Cloud transformation

- Experience and knowledge of in workload management, Virtualisation, and Cloud technologies

- Be able to communicate equally fluently with the client's senior IT leadership

- Experience of EA tools such as Alfabet, Troux, Mega, etc.

- Experience as an EA design authority for a business change program

- Understand dependencies, risks and mitigation planning for the IT transformation

- Experience in providing architecture solutions for large/complex programs

- Experience and knowledge of the key technical tools/methods i.e. Java (Core & EE, Spring, JUnit), Single Page Application (HTML5, CSS3, Node,js, React, Angular etc., GIT/BitBucket, Web Technologies (JavaScript, Web Components, JSON, REST, SOAP, NodeJS, Apache Tomcat), NoSQL, Cassandra, Hadoop integration

- Experience and exposure to designing and development micro-services based applications, machine learning, and AI ecosystems

- Essential to have been involved in Large program transformations i.e. SAP, Oracle etc. for any Utilities, Banking,

Insurance, Service industry programs

Preferred skills:

- Responsive / Adaptive User Interface Design

- Experience with building and supporting client facing, web-based trading and portfolio management platforms at a large financial institution.

Industry Sectors :

- Experience in one or more of the following industry sectors: Banking, Insurance, Energy & Utilities, Retail, Telco, and Manufacturing.
