Lead the presales & solutions for BFSI
The role entails the following key responsibilities:
- Support sales team in Lead generation and opportunity seeding through proactive customer pitches to understand customer business needs and seed/nurture opportunities.
- Advise customers in a consultative way on best fit solution levering industry best practices across process/technology.
- Spearhead & lead end-to-end solutioning to address the business need along with required technical support from relevant Service Lines.
- Liaise with BFSI Domain / Service Line Practice Teams to proactively create specific POV's / collaterals across various service areas.
- Drive proactive pitches/discussions with BFSI customers understand their business needs, advising them on the best-fit approach; Navigate within the Customer leadership to seed ideas / gather feedback as well move the opportunity towards our favor.
- Drive / Lead high Impact presentations with key CXOs / Business teams in customer organization; Ensure the upcoming trends and technologies are appropriately presented to the clients with the right business cases, references and context, closely aligning with the respective global practice teams.
- Work with the Sales/ Account Team to build funnel as well as plan for upcoming bids.
- For Top Focus accounts proactively identify Change & Run Themes to drive in the account along with the engagement plan.
- Lead / Anchor end to end integrated solution design for multi-LOB deals / key transformation deals, with support from respective service lines, Delivery, CTO team, Digital team etc. as needed; Bring in BFSI domain flavor as part of overall solutioning / design across all SL's.
- Complete ownership of all Integrated Solution proposition and ensure that the solution is complete and optimal for every proposal; Work with the bid teams and solution architects/bid managers, finance and sales and customer for commercial closure.
- Work closely with Delivery Team in Focus accounts to proactively identify and pitch for potential extensions to existing engagements and mining within existing accounts.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Presales with hands-on solution design experience in BFSI across multiple solution areas such as DWH / BI, Middleware, Channel Transformation, Managed Services etc.
- Good understanding of Banking & Financial Services Industry from a domain perspective across all key functional areas in a Bank and have a strong techno-functional background in Banking / Financial Services.
- Have a holistic understanding of overall technology & architecture landscape in a Bank.
- Ability to drive discussions with customers in a consultative way on how technology can support in addressing business needs.
- Ability to engage with customer executives and defend complex solution design at CXO levels.
- Fast Learner and constantly focus on enhancing the knowledge of key trends/changes in the regulatory environment etc. and tap the opportunities arising from the same; Technology Savvy.
- Move and understand new technology in a very short time frame.
- Highly Self-motivated and Result-oriented; Have the right attitude to go beyond self-responsibilities (if needed) as the situation may demand.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and take complete ownership & responsibility to lead presales/solutions in the region
