This is the pre-sales position is for the N.ME vertical under Consumer BU. As the title denotes, this position needs to bridge customer organization with sales & BD efforts and involves preparing collaterals, customer pitches all the way leading to solution architecture and bid management - including the very important aspect of pricing. The candidates should typically come from a similar vertical from the IT services space.
Role Dimensions of Pre-Sales Head:
- The role holder will have to collaborate within the technology & delivery teams on one side and front-end sales teams to develop response to RFPs and enable winning competitive bids.
- He/she will have to structure large contracts
- He/she has to play a proactive role in demand generation, lead identification through environment scanning and provide market intelligence data to sales teams.
- He/she plays a prominent role in contracts development and pricing suiting both customer requirements and also policy-requirements of Wipro organization.
- Will lead the critical function of solution architecture. As part of which he will have to carry out application assessment, design the right solution and present value proposition to the customer.
- His/her skills will be always required for converting a solutions architecture presented to CXO into concrete sales.
- Contact- to-Contract process.
- Will provide thought leadership and differentiators in offerings to uniquely position Wipro's solution as part of a Bid.
- He/ She should have track-record of having managed deals worth more than 100 mil USD in contract value.
- Deep understanding of media domain and technology application space is a must.
- Innovation mind-set which will enable him / her to develop cutting edge solutions to resolve the application. Should be able to handle the ambiguity involved in solution development to meet the intricate demands of the application areas.
- Techno commercial skills which includes ability to price a technical project is a key requirement.
