- Pre-Sales Consultant responsible for the EDS Presales covering different industry verticals / IPGs and supporting sales team in winning the deal addressing client requirements while ensuring Wipro interests are met wrt OB, Rev, Growth Measures. EDS presales works with Wipro marquee customers and new logos through sales & hunting team cutting across industry verticals of AAD (Auto Aero Defense), Consumer, ENU, Industrial Manufacturing, CSCD, HiTech and Medical. We also plan to grow with PSP IPG areas - Practice / Solution Definition / Integration / Generation / RFX :


- Works with SMEs and architects to create the solution for RFXs and proactive pitches along with specific product offerings based on market demand


- Probes the customer and asks relevant questions to get the necessary clarifications on requirements and conveys the same to the solution teams or build solution for the requirement


- The response to RFX would cater to meet basic hygiene scope and the win theme differentiators


- Collaborates with multiple stakeholders for getting inputs as per plan and reviews progress as per the bid plan and takes corrective actions


- Integrates / assembles the response as per inputs received and ensures that response gets submitted as per timeline.


- Makes a presentation of the solution to the client


- Collaborating with delivery for proactive preparation of POV, Building PoC, GTM strategy


- Account mining and solution mapping


- Tracking and monitoring on Presales G&Os


- Tracking and monitoring Business function (TPG) ranking to have continuous growth


- Collaboration with delivery in getting solution case studies for repository / reuse


- Monitoring industry market trends, events workshops. Enabling sales with intelligence information


Commercial Architecting / Estimation:


- Works in collaboration with the BFMs (Finance) to determine the deal price and margins.


- Coordinates with the different Technology Practice Groups, Vertical stakeholders and Delivery teams for the commercial estimates


- Mechanical Engineering, preferably an MBA from a Premier or Eminent institute or an equivalent record of performing at the level required for this role.


- Engineering design and its Manufacturing process background


- Excellent communications and presentation skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)


- Excellent understanding of Product Engineering & IT delivery models and pricing models


- Excellent organizational and analytical skills


- Strong structured problem solving and insight development skills


- Ability to work effectively in a remote, virtual, global environment


- Excellent attention to detail and high capacity to take calculated risks


- Knowledge in current trends like I4.0, Digital in Engineering space
