- Responsible for Infrastructure automation across infrastructure domains such as End User Services, Network, Security and Platform.
- Maintaining database of IT vendors with details like contact person, telephone no., deliverables, escalation matrix, response time and resolution time commitments etc.
- Monitoring calls with vendors that require service dispatch, for resolution of Incidents.
- Coordination, escalation and follow -up with the vendors to get the Incidents / Problems resolved.
- Maintain Database of hardware maintenance contracts entered into by Wipro, with the various vendors.
- Analyzing the performance of the different vendors vis --vis their maintenance contract/ Agreement entered into with Wipro.
- Conducting Periodic structured reviews with Vendors.
- Person should have 15-18 years of solid IT Operations experience in managing complex & end-to-end IT infrastructure
- Should have very good process orientation around ITIL & other quality methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma etc.,
- To have decent technical understanding of IT infrastructure components like Server, Network, Storage, Email to be able to lead the team effectively
- Experience in running mission critical 24x7 IT infrastructure operations preferably for internal IT of large organization in similar size of Wipro
- Experience of having handled various facets of IT infrastructure technologies like Server, Operating System, Network, Security, Desktop, Laptop, Smart devices etc.
- Exposure & Certification of Quality Management standards like ITIL Service Management (ITIL certifications like ITIL V3 foundation & expert), Six Sigma, Lean., COBIT etc.,
