1. Expert knowledge of the Capital / money Markets.

2. Experience in Fixed Income Settlements operations of a Investment Bank / brokerage or a custodian bank and supporting trade life cycle – eg. Settlements, confirmations, matching, reconciliations etc.

3. Experience in interacting with clients and agencies such as exchanges

4. Strong interpersonal skills

5. Ability to work and communicate with people

6. Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into action plans

7. Strong analytical skills with an ability to problem solve with a win-win negotiation approach

8. Advanced knowledge of PC technology-DOS, applications and on-line tools

9. Expert knowledge of service procedures

10. Excellent Customer facing skills and ability to build rapport with clients

11. Knowledge of Customer’s Culture

12. Excellent English written and spoken communication skills

13. Should understand and speak Tamil

14. No Mother tongue influence (MTI) in speech/ diction

Job Description

1. Responsible for the monitoring day to day activity for the trade life cycle and meeting SLA’ related to the processes.

2. Responsible for performing the process like – Trade support, matching pre-matching, conformation, settlements, fail management, dividend processing, brokerage calculations etc.

3. Responsible for assisting analysts on a daily basis, to act as the 1st level supervisor for the process.

4. Responsible for processing complex transactions requiring superior analytical skills.

5. Responsible for tracking daily performance metrics and devise measures to improve the same

6. Responsible to implementing tools and methods as per internal requirements

7. Focus on stabilizing the process and meeting customer expectation

8. Provide performance feedback to analysts

9. Liaise with SCM for sourcing / recruitment requirements.

10. Act as a point of contact between analysts and management

11. Assist with training and identifying training needs within the group

12. Mentor and guide the existing team and assist the new hires
