The individual will lead cross global functional teams in developing finance strategies to support a strategic alignment with company's Business Operations, and corporate departments on company goals & initiatives. Manage financial goals that result in strong customer satisfaction, align with company strategy, and optimize costs and supplier relations. Influence senior leaders in setting direction for their functional areas by linking finance and business strategies to optimize business results
Key Responsibilities
1.Would drive the operating and strategic plan set out for respective business unit
2.Oversee the review and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance to determine key drivers impacting performance. Liaison with different regional and vertical leaders for monthly forecasts. Cost Governance (including cost take out initiatives, systemic and sustainable cost reduction analysis, forecasting)
3.Capex governance (including forecasting, capitalization as per Accounting Standards and Wipro policy)
4.Working with business team to drive optimization of overall Technology cost per employee across Hardware, Security, Software/ licenses, Cloud usage and communication link cost
5.Responsible for ensuring right cost is cross charged to businesses and providing overall visibility of IT spend across Wipro
6.Critical attributes to success would be strong communication, cadence and resilience.
7.Operate as a business partner; cultivate positive business relationships with senior leadership team and other key constituents.
8.Impactful MIS and institutionalizing early warning indicators for the business
9.Experience in automation of various financial and operational processes. Suggest improvements to operational processes and key cost components.
10.Will be a key driver to structure contracts by innovative commercial solutions, active customer negotiations. Focus on cost levers and optimize them to achieve margins.
11.Aid in various ad-hoc financial analyses and projects and take a leadership role in the development of financial improvement initiatives and business cases for strategic initiatives.
12.Manage a team of individuals in the above activities. This includes managing priorities, motivating, training, Wipro Limited 7 and developing staff in addition to recruiting, training, and retaining top tier talent
Functional/ Personal Skills
1.Should carry a good understanding of various finance processes, reasonable knowledge of GAAP, exposure in SAP, Business Intelligence tools, SOX and compliance.
2.Should have proven experience in managing large business units in areas of revenue growth , cost management, contract structuring, negotiations and deal pricing
3.Demonstrated ability to establish positive relationships and work effectively with all internal and external constituencies.
4.The person should bring strong communication skills, ability to work with cross functional teams to achieve outcomes.
5.Should carry a good sense of innovation, thoughtful thinking and passion to transform
6.Excellent people management, leadership and development skills coupled with the ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and rapid changes are essential.
7.Must have the highest standards of accuracy, organization and precision and the ability to think creatively and strategically while acting tactically.
8.Financial Integrity. Strong Ethics
Experience:
12+ years of related experience in Financial Planning and Analysis/Controllership with a minimum of 5 years in senior managerial capacity.
