Job Summary:

Wipro Consumer Care is seeking a results-oriented and experienced Regional Sales Manager North - Ivory to lead and drive sales for the Ivory brand across the northern region of India. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for implementing the sales strategy, managing the sales team, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders to achieve business targets and enhance the Ivory brand presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Leadership: Lead the regional sales team to achieve annual sales targets for Ivory products. Drive the execution of sales strategies across the North region, ensuring alignment with company goals.

- Market Expansion: Identify and explore new business opportunities in the region to increase market share for Ivory. Develop and execute plans for expanding distribution networks and strengthening retail partnerships.

- Team Management: Motivate, mentor, and develop the regional sales team to ensure optimal performance. Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations to maximize team effectiveness.

- Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and customers in the North region. Engage in regular meetings to identify business needs, negotiate terms, and ensure smooth operations.

- Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, monitor regional performance, and report on key sales metrics. Use data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies to meet business goals.

- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement region-specific strategies that align with national objectives, ensuring profitability and growth.

- Brand Building: Champion the Ivory brand, ensuring it is well-represented in the region through effective merchandising, promotional activities, and market campaigns.

- Competitor & Market Analysis: Regularly analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

- Budget & Resource Management: Manage the regional sales budget efficiently, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve optimal results.

Required Qualifications:

- Educational Background: Master Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

Who is a successful candidate?

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 4-5 years in a leadership role managing a regional or zonal sales team, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods.

- Demonstrated experience in managing premium or personal care product lines is a significant advantage.

- Strong background in developing and executing regional sales strategies, achieving targets, and managing P&L.

Skills & Competencies:

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Analytical mindset with proficiency in using data to drive decisions.

- Proven track record in achieving sales growth and developing market strategies.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.

We work from Office/Market for 6 days in a week.
