(USD 2.0Bn) in 2022-23. Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting has presence in 20 countries predominantly in India, Asia, Africa, and the Middle-East. It has 16 manufacturing units in India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, China and South Africa.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing portfolio of currencies for hedging the group exposure to volatile forex environment and generate profits and mitigate risk to the P&L by framing active forex risk management strategies.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the trading activities, futures, options, rates forecasting and forward price contract execution for all group companies.

- Alpha Generation through trading in Currency Options, forwards, risk reversal, TARF etc.

- Develop and maintain an all-inclusive analysis of exports and imports outlook for the portfolio of currencies. Proactively develop strategies, present risk/ reward scenarios, contingency requirements, and report on positions/ price to key stakeholders

- Collaborate with different business units to understand the group exposure, volume, specification, timing, and quality; develop the strategy for short term and long-term hedging.

- Prepare periodic macroeconomic dashboards and relevant research reports on underlying economic fundamentals.

- Lead negotiation and selection of bankers and products for hedging mechanism.

- Lead the relationships with related stakeholders both internal and external.

- Ensure trading execution in compliance with accounting and other audit requirements.

- Ensure trading execution adherence to FX Risk Management Policy

- Ensure people development and performance management within the team.

Skills and qualification:

- Graduate Full-time MBA/CFA/CA from a reputed institute with 3-5 years of work experience

- In-depth technical understanding of forex and equities

- Demonstrated track record of market research, planning, analytical and high-volume trade execution.

- High level understanding of trade policies, import requirements and macroeconomic environment related to currencies

- Highly motivated to work in very active Treasury along with strong communication and networking skills

- Ability to manage key stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment.

Key requirements:Open to 5.5 working days in a week.
