Wipro - BA - Regulatory Report Consulting

Responsibilities:

Expecting very strong business analyst to work with regional and global clients / partner organizations to deliver systems and business process change. In addition, work with counterparts in other regions on Global initiatives.

- Act as an interface between clients, partner organizations and development teams on the Regional BOW

- Work with the clients to gather detailed, specific, accurate, unambiguous business requirements and functional specifications

- Ensure Business analysis, Impact analysis, Gap analysis and System analysis are done to a high standard on defined projects and continuous improvement initiatives

- Gain a deep understanding of the regulatory environment

- Develop expertise on all components involved in the FA architecture in the region and contribute to business and IT process improvements

- Prepare functional/technical specifications and work closely with developers/development teams to ensure that they understand the specifications and Deliver IT solutions for them.

- Work with other business analysts (e.g. Operations, Product Control) on firm wide initiatives and participate in the Front to Back User testing / regression testing.

- Prepare Project plan and test plan and co-ordinate with necessary parties

- Assist with production support activities, when necessary, to help identify and resolve escalated production issues

- Develop expertise on the global regulatory architecture and look for opportunities to leverage in the region

Skills & Experience Required

Education: University degree in IT

- 5 to 12 years of experience in Business Analysis, data analysis, general IT experience, regulatory reporting etc

Tools and Technical skills:

- Must have knowledge on Banking Products like Derivatives, Securitization, etc

- Must have knowledge on Basel Regulations like Basel II & III

- Ability to deal with people at various levels of technical and business expertise.

- Knowledge of a system development methodology, and experience working through the full system development life cycle

Location: Base location is Pune with short term on site assignment
