Job description:
Wipro Partner Marketing is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic marketing professional to develop and implement successful integrated marketing plans to drive growth for our overall services portfolio with some of our most strategic partners; and to create demand-generation programs in support of Wipro’s business and sales objectives in India and ME region.
- In this role, you will work closely with Wipro Service sales, partners, and various marketing teams to increase sales, awareness and loyalty in the region, and to execute key corporate marketing initiatives.
- You will lead or be involved in broad array of activities such as communications, internal & external marketing campaigns, events, sales enablement, and thought leadership as well as project management activities and build the necessary positioning related to the launch of new offerings and programs.
- Success in this role is determined by metrics, ongoing tracking, and results that can tie or map booking attainment back from marketing programs to both new and existing customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive partner marketing relationship and build integrated co-marketing strategies and plans
- Owns the marketing relationship with Wipro partners locally, acting as the trusted marketing advisor, initiator and resource for Wipro’s co-marketing offer.
- Meets regularly with partner marketing contacts: Marketing Director, Sales Director or owner with marketing responsibilities.
- Builds joint annual marketing strategies for and with marketing managed partners, aligned to joint business goals, with a strong focus on revenue marketing. Integrate partner plans into overall country marketing plan. Participates in regular business review and governance process with partners.
- Support on Leadership Interlocks and aligns regularly with country sales leaders and country marketing manager on Wipro partner strategy, marketing execution & lead management
- Assigns and manages available Market Development funds (MDF) budgets for campaign execution or other relevant partner marketing activities. Works with partners to ensure most effective use of MDF available in a holistic view, to drive achievement of business objectives and agreed pipeline targets.
- Builds partner synergies across the country, aligning the partner plans and execution for a synchronized and effective general output.
- Drives the creation of thought leadership collaterals and other success stories with partners where applicable.
- Identifies and documents best marketing practices and support Wipro sales team with sales enablement collaterals and deal intervention support.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Looking for a marketing professional with field experience, Minimal qualifications are:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English
- Preferably experience with working with Alliance managers, channel marketing partners, and Sales teams.
- Understanding of the importance in tracking Marketing Return on Investment, preferably with experience in this area
- Knowledge and experience in establishing and developing relationships with partner organizations
- Wide and proven knowledge of the marketing mix and therefore ability to consult and advice partners on marketing strategy and execution
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as act independently to pursue goals
- Understanding of the business priorities, technology industry and ability to drive business results from marketing activity
- Ability to manage budgets and complex process
- Ability to work independently to pursue goals and thrive in a complex organization
- Requires Marketing Diploma or equivalent plus 5+ years related experience
- Role requires extensive travel in India and Middle East and is based out of Bangalore.
- Proven success in developing and managing marketing programs in the IT industry. Experience in implementing successful joint marketing plans with Partners a huge plus.
- Experience in APJC regional capacities for multinational vendors.
- Ability to translate technology services into business outcomes.
- Track record in developing sound and relevant content.
- Digital marketing experience is desired.
- Solid understanding of inbound and outbound marketing strategies and requirements.
- Follow-through skills and strong attention to details.
- High energy and strong customer focus.
- Highly effective and organized with strong ability to manage multiple diverse projects with different deadlines and priorities.
- Excellent communications & interpersonal skills.
