Wipro - Airport Practice Leader - Business & Technology Consultant

Objective :

We are looking for a Globally Experienced Senior Business & Technology Consultant and Industry subject matter champion from airport and aviation business with high appreciation of next generation information and digital technologies, to join our organization for Airport Business Leader role. In this role, you will play a critical role in airport vertical's growth and success using your experience in the sector to create technology enabled domain led consulting value propositions, digital solutions, industry centric alliances and provide support for airport bids, client meetings and enable us to increase our reach globally.

Job description:

- Research technologies and management methods used in aviation in particular airports and develop insights and strategies for airport clients across Passenger Experience, Airport Revenue Growth and Airport Operations and Asset Management

- Working with our key customers and new leads, in a senior business consulting role to drive:

- Evangelism of airport use cases to solve business problems

- Develop business cases along with associated cost/benefit analysis, risks, implications, and options along with develop KPIs across different Airport IT systems business function

- Developing industry centric solution prototypes from the identified use cases leveraging Digital Technologies like Mobility, Cloud, IoT, Analytics, AI and Cognitive,

- Developing value proposition presentation and domain centric content in our proposals for airport clients.

- Leading and executing client presentations and meetings.

- Working with the Pre-Sales, Delivery teams to provide domain expertise and represent our company and industry centric solutions in front of customers and prospects.

- Stay up to date on systems trends adopted by airports, attending courses, conferences, and seminars

- Working with the Digital & Technology teams to help define domain and digital roadmap and create digital assets based on our target markets and dynamically changing technology landscape.

- Contribute to the development of airport architecture leveraging technology trends

- Working with the Marketing team to develop marketing collaterals like value proposition collaterals, broachers, videos and also provide thought leadership through white papers, analyst interactions and participation as key speaker in global events and seminars.

- Provide support to the solution delivery team during the implementation of solutions at customer sites for right insights and handoffs to ensure client satisfaction

- Develop airport ecosystem and alliances - Liaison with both internal and external stakeholders, OEM and partners to enhance

WIPRO presence in domain

Desired Skills & Experience -

- Must hold Bachelor Degree or equivalent complemented with MBA or business studies

- Should have a minimum 18 years of across an Airport (Strategy, Transformation department) or with consulting department of Systems Integration company, or with a consulting company

Resource should have good understanding of airport applications knowledge involving key Business and Operational Processes such as:

- Resource & Gate Management,

- Airport Operational database (AODB),

- Flight & baggage information display systems (FIDS / BIDS),

- Baggage Reconciliation & handling,

- Aircraft docking guidance Systems,

- Common Use Passenger Processing Systems (CUPPS), Common Use Self Service (CUSS) kiosks,

- Departure Control and Flight load balancing.

- Knowledge and working experience on one or multiple systems is preferred.

- Should have been involved at least couple of airport initiatives involving technology led initiative that included design, develop and manage Airports - IT & Systems landscape for greenfield or brownfield airports or Terminal buildings

- Should have a good understanding of Core & support Airport IT Systems with hands on knowledge of the Airport operations,

- Airport systems and related applications, their interdependencies and integration points

- Well aware or trained on IATA standards for Airport to design IT systems for airports

- Should have keen appreciation and knowledge of how Digital solutions like Mobility, IoT, Analytics, Cloud, Virtual Design Construction /BIM, AI and cognitive can be leveraged by the Airport industry.

- Excellent communication, team working, leadership skills - ability to communicate business information to widely varied audiences (Customers, Prospects, Partners and Vendors).

- Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills

- Ability to understand business processes and business problems

- Excellent presentation, Experience and commitment to develop/ deliver reports/ finished document.

- Willingness to travel to client sites globally.
