Key Responsibilities / Job Description

- Supporting US-based valuation project team in providing consulting services relating to the valuation of businesses, private companies and other corporate finance-related services

- Experience in Business valuation, complex securities valuation and financial modeling including building and reviewing valuation and other financial models using discounted cash flow, comparable companies/market multiple, comparable market transaction, and intangible asset valuation

- Experience of managing and working on engagements involving the valuation of complex financial instruments such as convertible debt, options, warrants, employee stock options (ESOPs), earn-outs, contingent consideration and other derivatives, etc. for the purpose of client engagement under ASC 718 / IRC 409A valuation using option pricing analysis, ASC 805/IFRS 3, ASC 350, ASC 820 / IFRS 13 etc.

- Experience of developing complex security valuation models for a variety of financial instruments and various business situations, using option pricing theory, fixed income, and structured finance models, Black- Scholes model, Monte Carlo simulation, statistical analysis, optimization, decision analysis, and other techniques from the financial engineering.

- Understanding of other business valuation methodologies including NPV, DCF, RfR, MPEEM, and WACC, etc. will be a plus.

- Experience and understanding of valuation for healthcare and life sciences sectors will be a plus.

- Writing valuation reports, including company analyses, and application of valuation approaches and methods.

- Experience working on the valuation team of a global public accounting (Big 4) or consulting firm

- Demonstrated ability to work independently, interface with client management, gather facts, organize data, analyze financial statements and other financial data, identify relevant issues, and propose solutions

- Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint a must), Capital IQ, Python and Bloomberg, etc.

Looking for candidates:

- MBA / CA /CFA with 3+ years of financial modeling/valuation experience in complex securities

- Experience in valuing complex financial products, including fixed-income securities, convertible debt, options, warrants, employee stock options (ESOPs), earn-outs, contingent consideration and other derivatives, etc., or in studying complex business situations using quantitative analytics, is a must

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence

- Proven time management, organizational, and prioritization skills

- Ability to effectively manage multiple engagements simultaneously
