Retail operations lead
Revenue and Profitability :
- Achieve sales and profit targets
- Grow contribution margins and market share for the business
- Track consumer demand, competition, geographic sales mix, and overall sales delivery
- Responsible for periodic Business reporting /Reviews which includes analysis and action planning
Process :
- Be updated with Retail best practices , Retail Automation/Retail Tech platforms product life cycle, new product introductions, unit volumes,
- Develop and implement SOPs for the channel as per business requirements
- Be responsible for Retail efficiency merics- APT, UPT,Conversions, SSG, Sales/SFT
- Develop an audit programme for Customer experience, Inventory , VM etc.
- Put in processes for Fraud Prevention with Finance and Commmercial
Customer Service :
- Understand customer needs, market trends and and competition
- Provide customers with the agreed Retail Experience which ensures our competitve advantage
- Create a mechanism to collect and act on customer feedback with marketing
- Provide inputs and be accountable for execution of retail marketing initiatives for new product launch , seasonal promotions and collaterals
- Manage the implementation of VM guidelines to ensure brand experience
People :
- Co- create people processes with HR team for hiring and managing employee lifecycle
- Conduct periodic people review and feedback mechanisms to identify people potential and take appropriate action
- Co- create learning and development initiatives with L&D manager to improve customer experience, manage efficient operations and develop team to take on larger responsibilities
- Create Employee engagement initiatives to ensure staff are engaged
- Design sales incentive plans which can help us achieve sales and reward objectives
- Mentor sales team and create career progression plans to handle store expansion and people development goals
Others Responsibilities :
- Finance and Commercials - Cash, Credit card and Stock Audit reconciliations, Retail Accounts Payable , Retail Compliances
- Business Development - Assist BD team in identification and evaluation of sites
- Projects & Facilities - Handover of new stores and ensure store maintenance
- Merchandising - Manage merchandising/IQ across retail outlets
Education, Experience and Skills :
- PG in Retail/Business Management
- Overall 10- 12 years' experience and 3 + years' experience handling at least 2 regions/a significant geography /at-least 50 EBOS with annual sales responsibility of 50 crores
- Mandatory Requirement: Experience of 2-3 years handling revenues of 50 cr/annum and experience in multiple geographies
- Understanding of retail automation /CRM
