We at Wibmo, make payments happen. Today, an overwhelming majority of the eCommerce transactions that happen every day in India, are powered using our systems. Your Role:

- Completely own a product/ platform, from a technical standpoint. Be responsible for everything from software architecture to production issues - the whole nine yards of it

- Build, develop and lead a large team of talented engineers. You need to be able to do more than just manage them. Every day, you will be guiding, mentoring and most importantly inspiring them every at work.

- Establish the necessary engineering processes, to help the product to scale. To be able to take over the world, we need to be really good at the mundane, boring stuff. It is your job to ensure everybody does their part, and does a good job about it.

- Plan and ensure execution of various software development projects, and ensure high quality, timely delivery. Every single time!

- Collaborate with cross functional teams (Product Managers, Project Managers, QA, Operations and Production Support) on an everyday basis. We are a band of merry men after all :)

- In addition to all of the above, given we offer services in a SAAS model, you need to drive production architecture for scale, fault tolerance and ease of management

- There is only so much role we can define for a product in the hyper growth mobile/internet economy. As we build bigger and better things, be willing to take up bigger and better challenges.

What we expect:

- Solid experience building large-scale, high TPS, self-correcting, multi-tiered systems.

- Expertise in Core Java and J2EE, object oriented design, analysis and design patterns

- Good exposure to JSON based REST services in Java.

- Excellent knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, MySQL, MSSQL, NoSQL, Cache, Linux based systems, Linux tools and architecture

- Be extremely quality conscious, have a personal aim at resolving every quality issue. Believe and drive excellence

- Drive innovation - whether in new technologies, new processes, new architecture, or simply new ways to ensure quality

- Be extremely data driven. The geekier, the better

- Be an excellent communicator. As a leader not only will you be responsible for clearly outlining your vision to your team, but to management as well as cross functional teams.

Qualifications:

- 12+ years of experience of building successful production-quality software, along with having managed a team of engineers

- BE / BTech or masters - from a Tier 1 university

- Any prior payment industry experience is highly preferable

- Brownie points given if you excel at something, apart from work
