Wibmo - Engineering Director

Role & Responsibilities:

- Define product roadmap and delivery upon it

- Managing a team of 10+ developers and managers, to deliver on product roadmap

- Recruiting new talent and coaching team members to build a world class team

- Establishment of performance goals for all team members.

- Designing and developing enterprise class highly scalable mission critical applications

- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java platforms

- Hands on Architecture and Design skill is required

- Work closely with QA, Professional Services, Developers to drive product development

- Architecture and design reviews

- Track actual project cost against estimated cost

- Set goals and perform appraisals for team members

- Improve state-of-art within the team for automation, architecture, infrastructure

- Manage client expectations

- Understanding client requirements and provide estimation

Skills:

- 14+ years of experience of building successful production-quality software.

- Expertise in large-scale multi-tiered systems.

- Expertise in Core Java and JEE, object-oriented design, analysis and design patterns

- Good exposure to JSON based REST services in Java.

- Excellent knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, NoSQL, Cache, Linux based systems- Focus on clean high-quality code and solid designs.
