Wibmo - Director - Products - Mobile Payments Team

Your role:

- You will effectively be the CEO of multiple software products in the mobile payments team. Your team would be responsible for defining for every element of the various products (Features, Flow, UI/UX and everything else there is to it)

- Work with the executive team in defining the product roadmap, and then deliver it

- Lead, guide and mentor a team of Business Analysts and Product Managers. Remember, you are only as good as your team.

- Stay on top of the key metrics of the product, and continuously work towards improving them. All this in a highly ambiguous environment.

- You and your team will be working every day with a variety of different teams (Business, Banks, Partners and Merchants). You will be required to understand all their business needs, capture that and share it with the internal teams, in a language in which the Engineering and QA teams can understand.

- You and your team will have to coordinate with various teams during implementation. For a complex product like mobile payments, this needs some serious multi-tasking skills.

- There is only so much role we can define for a product in the hyper growth mobile/internet economy. As we build bigger and better things, be willing to take up bigger and better challenges.

What we expect:

- Have a solid understanding of business fundamentals, consumer behavior & user flow, and use them at work, everyday

- Understand enough technology to be able to build world class software products. You should be very comfortable talking with Technical Architects, and Software Engineering Managers and talk in their own language.

- Be extremely data driven. The geekier, the better

- Possess a keen eye for detail, for it will be required to understand a complex product like mobile payments

- Be able to lead a talented team of BAs and Product Managers

- Bring you - A Game- every day, for you will be working in a fast paced environment

- Stay curious, Question everything, Move fast and Break things.

Qualifications:

- BE / BTech from a Tier 1 University

- An MBA with a background in consumer behavior/ marketing is highly preferable

- Over all experience of 12+ years- experience as a Product Manager of a complex software product which has witnessed massive adoption and usage

- Any prior experience in a startup is highly preferable

- Any prior payment industry experience is highly preferable

- Brownie points given if you excel at something, apart from work
