National Sales Head / Chief Sales Officer:
Looking for someone with a desire to make a mark & grow with the business into National role. Should have a burning desire to elevate business into 2-3x levels from a start-up. Company Overview:
- Jalpak is an exciting startup that intends to build a green manufacturing network for value-added dairy and other agri-packaged products. Jalpak's model is largely B2B, with some B2C business with niche brands. Jalpak has received investment from marquee investors & angles to name a few - IAN, Bearings, Green Frontier, Former BLACKSTONE MD - Mathew Cyriac...
- As part of that journey, Jalpak's immediate priority is to grow its existing dairy business (White Spread Foods) in MP (Indore/Bhopal) and establish a world-class supply chain and manufacturing facilities.
- Jalpak acquired White Spread Foods from Mahindra Group, which is still a 20%stake holder. White Spread sources its milk from farmers in the Indore area and supplies retailers and HORECA customers in the Indore and Bhopal markets.
- Further to its ambition to be a national player WSFPL has launched it's Brands in East of India & in leading Modern Trade chains.
- White Spread Foods is generating 50-60 crores in revenues per annum and remains a startup in Stealth mode. The business has approx. 75 employees and a good number of off-roll contract persons who are engaged in front-line/support jobs.
- Jalpak's manufacturing facilities will be piloted by a Dairy Processing setup in MP (Dewas region) followed by a mother plant for food processing which is planned on the 25 acres of land that it has acquired in Jharkhand to supply Eastern India & NE.
- In partnership with Tetrapak, Jalpak has already designed India's most sophisticated and cost-effective food processing plant. This factory will be constructed in the next 18 -24 months.
- Mr. Sunil Sood, Ex-CEO Vodafone India is Chairman of the Board and Jalpak's Board include marquee names drawn from India's top investors, corporates and entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities:
As the CSO, you will:
- Ability to translate Business Plans into Sales executions & achieve Targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies for Market expansion.
- Build & lead nationwide sales team to achieve sales targets & Org. goals.
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers & Key Accounts
- Monitor, and analyse sales performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- Prepare & review monthly and quarterly annual sales forecasts.
- Implement various Sales processes with an eye on profitability.
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with customer needs.
- Liaise with Marketing and implement micro-level market penetration strategy.
- Stay up to date with new product launches and market trends.
Required Qualifications:
- MBA(Preferred) from a well-regarded Institute/Univ. with experience in FMCG, Beverages, Food Processing Industries (Preferably from Dairy industry)
