WheelsEye is a hyper-growth tech logistics startup. We started in 2017 with the idea to empower the Truck Fleet Owners, and enable them and their business via technology. We started off as a GPS tracking company and today we have created an entire ecosystem of services aimed at transforming truck logistics in India. We are providing fleet owners with a one-stop platform for all their needs: Fastag, Fuel, Credit, Insurance, Maintenance, Marketplace, and more.

Role: Regional Head (Distribution)

Background :

As we expand into newer cities & states, we want leaders who can set-up, scale-up and manage the biz in these cities / states. This role would oversee our business operations in the assigned region. The regional head will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals profitably. The duties also include hiring, setting performance objectives, guiding, evaluating and optimising operational performance, ensuring regulatory and company standards are upheld, and tracking operational & financial metrics.

Objective :

The RH is expected to own the business for the entire region involving New Acquisition, Retention, Revenue/Trip Penetration, Payments Collection, CAC and overall P&L. Regional Head will be building a team of ZSMs to manage each cluster in their respective geographies. These ZSMs will further be hiring

Skill Set : Strong Sales Leadership Skills -

1) Team Building & Management: Ability to hire, train and lead a large team handling multiple KRA's

2) Training & Coaching - Ability to train & create right processes around team training


Strategic Thinking & Analytical Skills:-


3) Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Developing and implementing effective sales plans to meet business objectives & setting realistic sales targets.

4) Analytical Sales Skills - Ability to break Down the targets

5) Market Analysis: Understanding the industry, market trends, and customer needs to drive Market Share

Communication Skills - Effective written as well as verbal communication & presentation skills to align Team for Business Objectives.

Financial Planning and P&L Focussed Mindset - Managing & Optimizing Sales Budget and make decisions to chase team P&L

Individual Sales Acumen - Should have done Individual Sales at some point of time in his career to have empathy towards Sales team and think about processes & targets from their point of view

Tech Savvy/Flexible - Complete understanding of Sales Tools & Products. Additionally, the candidate must be flexible for tech based products as Our Internal and Consumer products involve some level of complexity.

Detailed Product Knowledge - Should have In-Depth knowledge of the Products/services the candidate has worked upon in the past. This is due to the fact that our product (both Customer side & Internal) are detailed and complex

Core Experiences :

1. 12-15 years of experience in managing a B2B Sales business (300Cr + Monthly Revenue/GMV) or High ticket size B2C Sales Business for a Geographical Cluster/Region.

2. Must have built and led a large team (40-100) of B2B Sales/Account Management.

3. Experienced with Distribution Models involving the entire Customer Lifecycle: LeadGen, Prospecting/Nurturing, Conversion, Upselling, Revenue Retention.

4. The Candidate must also have relevant experience with Financial planning and P&L driven planning. Must have optimized Sales plan around CAC and Sales Productivity.

5. Must have worked and Managed team through efficient CRM tools and should have leveraged the data to make Sales Decisions

Education Background - Preferably MBA in Sales & Marketing
