About WheelsEye:

WheelsEye is a hyper-growth tech logistics startup. We started in 2017 with the idea to empower the Truck Fleet Owners, and enable them and their business via technology.

We started off as a GPS tracking company and today we have created an entire ecosystem of services aimed at transforming truck logistics in India. We are providing fleet owners with a one-stop platform for all their needs: Fastag, Fuel, Credit, Insurance, Maintenance, Marketplace, and more.

We are in "Mission Mode". We operate with only one intent - adding value to a truck owner's life

and work, solving our customer's problems, and adding value to their lives. Our constant endeavor is to create and evolve data-driven software solutions that conquer logistic business problems and inspire more thoughtful data-driven decision-making.

Why are we hiring:

We're transitioning from tracking to monitoring everything on a Truck and moving vehicle segments. There are multiple learnings from GPS journey where we could not solve specific problems or took longer in the absence of in-house talent.

Core skills:

- Technical Expertise - Proficiency in programming, specifically Embedded C/C++ and Python

- Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols (eg MQTT, COAP, HTTP)

- Hardware Design and Architecture

- Experience in PCB design, schematics, and layout tools.

- Knowledge of sensors, actuators, Antenna, and other hardware components.

- Experience in designing and architecting IOT hardware solutions

- Firmware Development

- Solid understanding of embedded systems, firmware development

- Communication Protocols

- Understanding of communication protocols used in IOT such as Zigbee, Bluetooth, Lora, and Cellular Networks

- Ability to choose appropriate communication technology based on project requirements

- Security Awareness

- Knowledge of IOT security principles and best practices

- Experience in implementing secure hardware and firmware solutions

Core Experience:

- 15+ years of IOT industry experience in EMS

- Prior experience in launching 4/5 different IOT Products (ideation to delivery) and scaling them

- Prior experience in partnership with vendors and manufacturers

- Prior experience in optimizing the cost & performance of IOT products

- Prior experience in building and managing teams of Hardware, Firmware, and Testing Engineers

- Prior experience in the telematics/DMS would be advantageous
