So if you are looking for a company on the move and truly one of the most diverse work environments on the planet then Western Union could be for you.  - Right now, we are seeking a Manager, Legal based in Western Union, Mumbai.  The Job :  - In this position you will be responsible to provide legal advice in support of Senior Counsel for the countries within South Asia.   - You will research and evaluate local laws in coordination with local counsel (including anti-money laundering rules), negotiate and draft agreements with Western Union agents, negotiate and draft miscellaneous contracts, support regulatory initiatives (including meeting with law enforcement and government regulators).   - Moreover, you will research and report on matters such as currency and foreign exchange controls, anti-money laundering prevention, banking regulations, payment regulations and guidelines, licensing and other regulatory and legal matters as well as work on consumer grievances, escalations and litigations.   - Your responsibilities will also include managing corporate secretarial compliance for Indian subsidiaries and assisting as required to meet legal needs of regional offices (tax, real estate, etc.).   About you :  - You possess a university degree in law from an accredited school of law in India together with 8-12 years of working experience in a law firm or legal department of a multi-national corporation with emphasis on contract review and drafting.   - You have experience in negotiating contracts, working directly with business clients and international companies.
