Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving revenue goals for Maharashtra and Goa business
- Formulate sales policies, practices and procedures for the region
- Provide sales strategies and leadership in the region to build the business
- Educate Agent sales teams on competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support and management of expenses, profitability
- Relationship management with Banks / Post / Retail at senior levels to drive business from the network
- Planning & coordinating with agent partners to ensure effective execution of grass root activities, promotions and campaigns.
- Efficient management of budgets available for the region
- Collaborating with operations, marketing and other functions to build programs and drive regional / organizational objectives
- Liaising with send countries to drive transactions towards region
- Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly and annual sales
- Manage Master Agent relationship - State Bank of India
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years- experience in financial services, banks or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years- experience in an operations and people management role
- Solid exposure in Business Development and well versed in Project Management
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders as well as vendors
- Exposure to P&L and Budget Management
- Bachelor's / MBA / PHD Degree in Business Studies or related field is highly desirable
