Western Carriers (I) ltd is Indias largest private multimode logistics company with over 5 decades of experience and a pan India presence. Clients include HUL, Hindalco, Vedanta, Tata etc.

What you will do everyday:

1. Strategic Leadership:

- Define and articulate the organization's strategy for selling services, aligning with overall business goals.

- Implement and continuously refine strategic plans to achieve sales objectives.

2. Sales and Revenue Growth:

- Drive sales and revenue growth by identifying opportunities, developing forecasts and implementing effective sales strategies.

- Establish pricing models that optimize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.

3. Customer Engagement:

- Actively seek out and engage major customers, building and nurturing strong relationships with key influencers.

- Collaborate with the Operations/Expansion team to understand market dynamics and tailor offerings to meet customer needs.

4. Market Penetration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to penetrate key markets, leveraging insights and strategies to maximize market share.

- Explore new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the organization's footprint.

5. Sales Policy Development:

- Develop and implement sales policies that align with the organization's values and goals.

- Ensure policies are adaptable to evolving market conditions and industry trends.

6. Innovative Delivery Solutions:

- Spearhead the development of Same Day Delivery/Next Day Delivery business to meet customer expectations and stay competitive.

- Drive the development of First Mile and Mid-Mile business to enhance operational efficiency.

Your Superpowers:

- Bachelor's Degree/MBA. However, comfort with data and numbers needs to be high.

- Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B sales in multimode logistics. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quota. Passion to build fast-paced business.

- Handled muktimode deliveries

- Proven success leading Business Development with consistent sales and revenue growth.

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills for effective market trend translation.

- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, both written and verbal.

- Proven collaboration skills with cross-functional teams for a cohesive working environment.

- Familiarity with innovative delivery solutions and logistics, understanding industry dynamics.

- Previous Logistics/Supply Chain experience is an advantage, offering valuable insights.

- Keen attention to detail while building and nurturing meaningful relationships.

- Strong negotiation skills contributing to successful deals and partnerships.

- Demonstrates high levels of ownership, bias for action and a problem-solving mindset.

- Eager to drive business growth by expanding into new client relationships and territories.
