Position Learning and Development Manager (Technical)

Job Overview:
The Learning and Development Manager (Technical) is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating technical training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees within the organization.
This role involves assessing training needs, developing curriculum, and delivering effective learning experiences to support employee growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assessment:
- Conduct assessments to identify technical training needs across departments.
- Analyze skill gaps and performance deficiencies.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop a strategic training plan aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify key technical competencies required for employee success.
Curriculum Development:
Content Creation:
- Design and develop technical training materials, including presentations, manuals, and e-learning modules.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
Program Development:
- Create structured training programs tailored to various technical skill levels.
- Incorporate innovative training methodologies to enhance learning outcomes.
Training Delivery:
Facilitation:
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars on technical topics.
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to engage learners effectively.
Technology Integration:
- Leverage learning management systems (LMS) and other technologies to deliver online and blended learning solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies to enhance training delivery.
Evaluation and Improvement:
Assessment Methods:
- Develop assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of technical training programs.
- Collect and analyze feedback from participants to identify areas for improvement.
Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor training metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program success.
- Implement enhancements based on evaluation findings and industry best practices.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
Experience - Proven experience in technical training and development, preferably in a corporate setting for 5 to 6 years.
- Trained Sales and Marketing team and Channel partners.
Required Skill :
- Strong understanding of technical concepts and proficiency in relevant tools and technologies.
- Excellent instructional design and facilitation skills.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training needs and measure learning outcomes.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management skills to coordinate training initiatives from conception to implementation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Professional certification in training and development is a plus.
- Prior experience in instructional design or curriculum development is desirable.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
