The Business Analyst will own the full responsibility to understand and leverage all the databases while working with stakeholders across different internal departments of AutoMed, to develop and manage key business process tools and reports including, but not limited to: operational metrics, key performance indicators, financial analysis, Demand Supply forecasting, budgeting, and workforce management.
- Must be self-motivated and work well in a team environment. This role requires a creative, energetic, resourceful personality that is able to deal with concurrent tasks and tight deadlines.
Responsibilities :
- Compiles results of analysis, data models, and other projects to all levels in the organization in a professional manner
- Assists in building efficient, user friendly reports and analysis that links to strategic objectives
- Documents complex reports that serve as data feed for both internal & external clients in their decision making process
- Maintains and runs SQL scripts and reports
- Executes ad-hoc analysis as needed
- Performs quality checks on data and reports
- Assists in R&D for metrics, report design and expansion of data analytics function.
Qualifications :
- Post Graduate/ Master's Degree/ Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering Or related quantitative disciplines from tier 1 premium institutes only (IIM, IIT, DSE, XLRI, NITIE,MDI,FMS etc)
- Experience as a Business Analyst with strong knowledge of building reports and dashboards
- Excellent business analytical skills: process flows mapping, spreadsheets modelling, procedures etc.
- A proven problem solver; ability to work alone and as a team member with minimal supervision
- Strong presentation skills, including verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced level knowledge of SQL & MS Office is must; expert Excel skills required (Financial Modelling/ Simulation/ charting, pivoting, connecting to external data sources, etc.)
- Knowledge of Minitab,SAS, Excel VBA, Tableau and R desirable but not mandatory
- Experience in Marketplace/ Logistics ecommerce is a plus
- Above all, desire and ability to quickly learn and adopt new technology
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Must be from Tier 1 engineering college
