Job Description
- Manages a team of 15-20 team members in Platform Management in a 24x7 model
- Responsible for managing all aspect of Platform Management that includes Application Availability, Platform Engineering & Service Management
- Responsible for all aspects of support lifecycle not limiting to High Availability, Incident Management, Change/Release Management, Service Management etc
- Asset, Access/Identity Management, Infrastructure & Server Support
- Instrumentation/Tool Development, Scripting (PERL, Python/Ruby), Process Automation
- Performance Management, Development Plan etc
Market Skills and Certifications
- Overall 12+ years of experience in managing Production/Application support teams
- Should be able to manage team of around 15+ team members
- Open to manage teams working 24/7, spread across multiple locations
- Extremely good verbal & written communication skill
- Expertise in software configuration management systems and source code version control systems
- Experience in DevOps Tools Git, Gradle, Artifactory, Jenkins & uDeploy
- Proven capabilities in Metrics, Process Implementation, SDLC/ITIL, Innovation/Save
- Proven experience with automating release and build processes
- Excellent knowledge in at least two of the languages: Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python and Ruby
- Ability to train and provide feedback to team members
- Ability to communicate well with US counterparts in virtual environment
