Job Description :
- Acting as a business partner, strategic solution provider and consultant for local HR and business teams. The candidate must be able to understand all businesses and markets operating in India and identify opportunities to improve benefits programs both in plan design and delivery and deploy action plans to resolve any gaps.
- The candidate must also be able to guide, direct and monitor benefits practices to ensure alignment with local market competitiveness and legal requirements as well as corporate strategies/philosophies ensuring the same benefits program offering across LOBs in India. The incumbent must be acting as a benefits expert to drive understanding of benefit programs among leaders, HR and team members.
- For both established and new benefits programs, the role is required to work and partner with key stakeholders including colleagues in Supply Chain, Finance, legal, HR, Service Delivery and the business to assess benefits vendor proposals and guide the selection of the best vendor at the best terms and rates as well as managing the ongoing relationships with vendors and ensuring effective administration and communication of benefit programs (including implementation of plan design changes and changes in vendors).
- Represent and support the International benefits team for due diligence activities in India, required to support mergers, acquisition, divestitures and expansion efforts.
- Participate in appropriate local market benefits surveys
