THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the Unit for business delivery within aligned costs -
a) Continue to drive efficiency in the RTM model through various opportunities and maintain systems & process hygiene of operations
b) Business Delivery & Distribution Execution for the Assigned Territory - Business Performance to deliver annual business targets
c) Continually manage, assess, and improve the distribution network operations comprising of large, medium & small industry partners spread across the territory.
d) Planning and monitoring of execution of deliverables like new product launches, trade promotions, account contracts, etc.
e) Ensure effective delivery of RTM sales fundamentals such as efficient coverage, productivity, distribution and in store merchandising through the Regional Sales Managers.
f) Key Accounts - nurturing & maintaining a direct relationship with key decision makers for top accounts of the territory
g) Engage effectively with internal teams in marketing/trade marketing on market opportunities, projects, innovation and annual business plan and budgets.
h) Deliver excellent execution of new product or initiative launches in the market.
i) Manpower & Team Management through demonstration of leadership, regular connects, on the job training, etc.
j) Continuously audit the market work done by all field employees; assess and give guidance to improve market working
QUALIFICATIONS
- Post graduate with 8-10 years of experience in Sales. Candidates from Tier 1 B-School needs to have a 4-5 years of experience. Strong pedigree and prior experience in North & East region will be preferred
- Industries preferred- FMCG (can be any including Food & Beverage) / FMCD/ Pharma
- Strong planning and project management skills along with sound commercial acumen
- Ability to "Get hands Dirty when needed" and execute
- Great stakeholder management - good interpersonal communication skills
- Cross functional understanding of the work processes between Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, HR
- Entrepreneurial and "hands-on" spirit
- Willing to travel
- Team handling experience
- Professional Beauty & Zonal/Unit Level experience candidates will be preferred
