KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a Salon Channel Leader covering the India Subcontinent region ; India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh & Nepal. The role will report directly to the General Manager, India Subcontinent and is a key member of India Leadership Team.

Sales:

- Own the entire region for business targets delivery within aligned cost and lead a pan-country sales team

- Develop and implement sales strategies for increase of market share and profitability on sustainable basis in line with Annual Business Plan.

- Align and Execute the GTM strategy with the distribution and sales team. Ensuring effective delivery of coverage, productivity, distribution, in store merchandizing

- Deliver excellent execution of new product or category or initiative launches in the market

- Design and implement Customer Development strategies, drive execution, and deliver growth

- Identify, create, and develop new market opportunities,

- Coordinate with multi-functional teams in demand planning and forecasting, planning trade promotions and sales capability building

- Manage Channel partners: Develop and build relations with various stakeholders. Maintain strong relationship with top key account business partners.

- Commercial: Ensure timely collections and keeping control of payment cycles

- Motivate & direct Sales team to achieve key performance targets: sales, coverage, distribution , cost, collection, etc and other measures for operation excellence

- Education ; a parallel operation to sales which drives equity amongst key channel (salon) stakeholders about our specialized products, their performance & usage, etc.

- Brand Equity in Channel: Build operations towards continually improving equity metrics like Net Promoter Score, etc.

- Operations: Own and drive the Education Operations towards aligned execution KPIs including continual capability enhancement

- GTM Synchronization: Build a structured and synchronized GTM approach towards the Salon Channel combining Sales & Education verticals towards improved performance

- Competition Benchmarking: Innovate to create value through optimized operations towards industry leading functional practices

- SoMe: Capture positive Share of Voice on Social Media (SoMe) through Channel Partners & other Key Stakeholders

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Post Graduate from premium B-schools with 8+ years of experience in sales & distribution, trade marketing, preferably in professional beauty space

- Minimum 4 years of directly related sales management leadership experience with high sense of integrity and an astute knowledge of channel sales and GTM strategy.

- Experience managing direct reports and leading large teams

- Great stakeholder management ; good interpersonal communication skills

- Entrepreneurial and "hands-on" spirit

- Passion for beauty!

- Proven track record of "Working like a start up mindset
