THE ROLE :
The Demand Planning Manager needs to ensure effective demand planning for the organisation, ensuring the right demand is updated in the system. Drive the monthly S&OP processes across stakeholders to drive short and long-term consensus and constrained forecast. Drive the replenishment planning with Global DRP team for supply planning and availability. This role cuts across all brands of Wella India and the incumbent is expected to work effectively with the local and global cross functional teams daily.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Run monthly rolling forecasting for planning horizon and work closely with Sales and Brand teams to arrive at Consensus Forecast, update consensus forecast in system for supply planning
- Supply feasibility of the consensus forecast and constrained demand plan
- Forecast Planning co-ordination with Sales, marketing and Order Management team
- Root causing of KPIs and action planning, create and drive continuous improvement of world-class demand planning and Sales and Operations Planning(S&OP) processes.
- Review Weekly performance of demand vs actual and course correct demands for supporting supply chain objectives
- Review and provide feedbacks on replenishment plans to global DRP teams to plan stock replenishment from Global DCs and ensuring stock availability and fill rates
- Review and work with global initiative planners for PIPO transitions and initiatives execution
- Ensures NPD delivery through monitoring and review
- Responsible to ensure all master data required to perform statistical forecast exist
- Work with global planning team to ensure planning parameters (like lead time, safety stocks etc) are correct and updated
KEY REQUIREMENTS :
- Has relevant experience of 3-5 years, preferably in FMCG industry post MBA
- MBA in Supply Chain Management from a premier institute
- Experience in driving S&OP process
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Has worked in SAP, Microsoft Excel and demand planning tools
