WebEngage - Manager - Search Engine Optimization

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute successful SEO strategies
• Conduct keyword research to guide content writers
• Review technical SEO issues and oversee fixes
• Optimize website content, landing pages and paid search copy
• Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)
• Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects regularly
• Work with social media and PPC teams to optimize campaigns
• Keep up-skilling on SEO and latest marketing trends
• Experimenting rapidly on SEO based growth ideas

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in scaling organic channel as a SEO Manager/ SEO expert in a SAAS organization
• Knowledge of standard and current SEO best practices
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS (basic coding)
• Experience with SEO reporting
• Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g.Ahrefs,Semrush, MOZ etc) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends)
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Structured problem solving
• Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude
