Location:-Gurgaon

- The business analyst helps the organization examine and optimize specific areas of the business. Their job is to strategically design, develop and analyze dashboards based on product activity to continuously and closely support decision making processes, providing relevant, timely and accurate data analysis as input for overall product roadmap generation and measuring performance of product changes in key KPIs, suggesting areas of improvement and identifying opportunities / threats based on internal and external data sources, market trends and user behavior in an effort to strengthen efficiency and provide strategic direction.

- Common tasks include entering data into analytical software programs, scrutinizing the information for patterns and extracting valuable insights that will then be used to shape the strategic footprint of the product. The process is highly technical and mathematical, and includes four steps: eliminating erroneous data, assessing data quality, determining the data’s meaning and final analysis, which provides a second-look at the process.

- Successful candidates for data analyst positions must have strong mathematical skills and keen business awareness. Skills in logic, project management and report writing are also important.

- Provide detail on the Job specific responsibilities, and the goal of each duty performed. Assign a time percentage to each task.

Responsibilities

1) Creates dashboards to support the decision-making process and makes recommendations for optimization.

2) Translates market trends, user behavior trends and competitive intelligence, into actionable, clearly communicated recommendations that can derive into product features.

3) Works with product management, marketing, customer support representatives and management team in defining and monitoring business KPIs.

4) Regularly creates and updates performance reports of business performance.

5) Proposes enhancements to current / future web analytics implementations.

6) Meets ad-hoc analytic needs of the business, analyzing traffic utilizing a Utilizes variety of measurement tools

- List knowledge or behavior you would expect from a successful incumbent in this position (Eg: Being able to translate user`s needs into technical requirements)

- Understands the company’s mission and vision and provides key insights about product utilization, identifying threats and opportunities, supporting product roadmap creation and overall decision making process.

- Has a rigorous analytical and metrics-driven approach.

- Methodical.

- Ability to understand all-around data requests from various stakeholders and produce state-of-the-art dashboards.

- Outstanding understanding of web-analytics tools and capabilities.
