About this role:

Wealth Underwriting: Covers jobs responsible for analysing and underwriting deals for wealth clients. Serves as a key member of a client's deal team.

In this role, you will:

- Manage and develop a Wealth Underwriting team of individual contributors with low to moderate complexity and risk

- Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated with Wealth Underwriting functional area

- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Wealth Underwriting functional area

- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of functional area and team to meet business objectives

- Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility

- Collaborate and consult with Wealth Underwriting peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers, as well as interact directly with external customers

- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Wealth Underwriting

- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Desired Qualifications: 10+ years of custom/commercial underwriting and management experience (including underwriting high net-worth individuals)
