Target segment: In banking circles, the wealth management teams target three different segments of people:
1. Mass Affluent
2. Affluent +
3. Priority
Bank is trying to position itself in the Pure play Private Banking segment
Focus is more on selling investments rather than selling banking services (cards, CASA, loans, etc). Sourcing can be through existing book or from acquiring new customers from the market
Other key points regarding targets:
- There are no product level targets.
- No penalties for not achieving target for specific products; However, there could be additional incentives if targets of certain products are achieved.
We need candidate with:
i. Needs to be managing a minimum investment AUM of 40 Cr - 50 Cr of which 50-60 % can be transferred to our Bank in the 1st year of joining.
ii. Needs to be managing at-least 50-60 Ultra HNI families who will move to our Bank.
iii. Should be having a history of consistent revenue delivery in third party products ( Mutual Funds / PMS/ Insurance / Alternates / Structures) Of minimum 5 lacs per month.
iv. Having good command over the business, English as a language and a pleasing personality.
