We are looking for a Business Analyst who would lead all business analysis and onsite client engagement activities for one of our key customers. He/she would understand the business needs, identify the features that best enable the solution and accordingly create the requirements specifications that can be used by the development team to implement.
The person should be a Canadian or US citizen or holding a permit to work in Canada.
Responsibilities :
- Lead all business analysis aspects including requirements planning, elicitation, analysis and documentation.
- Plan, organize and facilitate requirements meetings and workshops
- Work closely with the client to understand their business processes and needs
- Define and create clear, concise and complete business/functional requirements.
- Play the Product Owner role within the project team and manage the product backlog and prioritization
- Plan, coordinate and review work done by the offshore business analysis team
- Closely work with the client and offshore project teams throughout the project life-cycle to clarify business and technical requirements
- Partner with development and testing teams to establish appropriate requirements traceability for assigned projects.
- Support testing teams (development, QA, UAT, etc.) during the creation and execution of test plans and test cases for assigned projects.
- Assist client users with user training and documentation as needed.
- Lead onsite client engagement by coordinating between the client and offshore teams for project planning, reviews and clarifications.
Skillset and Experience :
- 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis
- Should have worked on projects related to enterprise-wide web applications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple streams of work
- Should have experience working with offshore teams
- Understanding of process management, business rules configuration, role management, UX design and change management
- Experience in Agile Project life-cycle planning and management methodologies and tools
- Experience in Program Management is a plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze information from multiple data sources and present it concisely
- Attention to detail
