WHIN came into the existence in 2006 with a vision to provide safe, scalable and affordable drinking water to the underserved communities across India. In twelve (12) years of its operation WHIN is successfully running over 500 WaterHealth Centers (WHCs) across five (5) states of India covering Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Karnataka and Delhi along with running over 300 Water Vending Machines (WVMs) across thirteen (13) railway clusters, several Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and Institutions pan India providing access to safe water to over five (5) million people. WHI runs similar operations in Ghana and Nigeria. Job Description : The incumbent would be responsible for maintaining all the strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost-benefit analysis (CBA), forecasting needs and the securing of new funding from Investors. Areas of Responsibility : - Work on the strategic vision including forecasting and cultivating as well as assisting in the development and negotiation of contracts on both at Macro-Micro level. - Participate in developing new business, and assist the CEO / COO in identifying new funding opportunities, and determining cost-effectiveness in the business. - Provide the operating budget and work with the COO to ensure programmatic success through CBC analysis and also Oversee all purchasing and payroll activites of CoBU & CaBU or line managers. - Ensure adequate controls are installed and to make arrangements for documentation approval and concurrently making sure that the financial documents pass independent and governmental audits. - Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organizations needs by monitoring the banking activities of the organization and also investigate cost-effective benefit plans and other fringe benefits. - Attend Board and Subcommittee meetings and also make the arrangements for the Audit/Finance Committee meetings and check-ups schedules. - Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and business insurance plans and health care coverage analysis and also maintain the inventory of all fixed assets, and assure that all the assets are in accordance with federal regulations. - Train the Finance Unit and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters. - Assist in the design, implementation, and timely calculations of wage incentives, commissions, and salaries for the staff. Functional Experience : Should have knowledge of best in place and adopted management practices, financial accounting, planning and implementation, Information Technologies, Finance MIS, Analytics and Taxation regimes. In addition to these, He/She should even be familiar with regulatory issues and contract negotiations. It would be desirable if the Incumbent has had experience/exposure of other geographies besides being familiar with ERP and PowerBI.
