Role - Manager Finance, Compliance and Portfolio Reporting

The position is for someone who is keen to build a corporate finance career in the niche segment of PE/VC.

Key roles and responsibilities

The role will include, but is not limited to:

1. Finance and Compliance

a. Work with external partners and auditors to ensure maintenance of accounts and audit of all WaterBridge entities.

b. Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.

c. Manage and administer all compliances related to various WaterBridge entities.

d. Liaise with banks at the time of making and exiting out of investments.

e. Oversee vendor and office management to manage various facets of business.

2. Investor and Portfolio Reporting

a. Ensure timely quarterly reporting to investors, trustee and regulators.

b. Support internal portfolio management, reporting and compliances.

Essential Qualifications:

1. Chartered Accountant with articleship and post qualification work experience with Big 4 or a large reputable audit firm

2. Good understanding of, interest in and aptitude for financial accounting, business and financial analysis, GST, Income Tax, Companies- Act, AIF regulations etc.

Essential Skills:

1. Analytically oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills

2. An eye for detail and ability to work under pressure and deliver high quality work with tight timelines

3. Ability to work in a small team, must be a self-starter with high levels of initiative & drive
